On June 8, 2026, the TBH development team temporarily suspended listing new items on the Steam Market. The official notice says the in-game Trade Ship menu was disabled in the same update to reduce excessive traffic caused by bots and similar activity.
This was not a complete shutdown of every market action. The official wording separates listing new items from existing market activity: players could still cancel existing listings and still buy items that other users had already listed.
What changed on June 8
The official temporary closure time was June 8, 2026 at 12:00 AM PDT, 4:00 PM KST, and 8:00 AM BST. After the update, players on older versions could still open the Trade Ship screen, but trying to load items there would produce an error, so the team recommended updating to the latest version.
- The unavailable action was listing new items on the Steam Market.
- The in-game Trade Ship menu was modified so it could no longer be accessed normally.
- Players could still cancel existing listings and purchase items already listed by other users.
Why the team paused listings
The announcement names bot-like activity and excessive traffic as the direct reason for the temporary measure. The team said a separate notice would give the exact schedule for resuming item listings once the underlying mitigation was ready.
A June 11 follow-up tied the reopening plan to the server migration update. In that notice, the team said the market would reopen after server stability was confirmed, and described planned market limits including 4 listing slots and an 8 hours per slot interval for new listings.
The same follow-up also said the update would cross-check items against Steam item registration data and delete items identified as abnormally generated or invalid.
How to read wiki data during the pause
Use TBH Wiki as a farming and item-data reference, not as a live market tracker. Drop tables, stage boxes, gear pages, and material pages can still help you plan what to farm, but Steam Market availability may not represent normal player supply while listing is paused or rate-limited.
