How to compare active and passive skills
Use the skills page when a hero build feels unclear. Read active skills to understand how the hero deals damage or controls a route, then read passive records for the support stats that make that pattern stable.
How to use
Start with the hero you are pushing, then compare active skills by activation type, delivery, element, range, and max level. For a cooldown skill, watch uptime and boss timing. For a basic-attack-count skill, check attack speed, target access, and whether enemies stay in range.
After active skills, switch to passive mode. Compare per-level value, total value, modifier type, and source. Use passive tree records to plan investment inside the hero. Use record-only passives to notice extracted bonuses that may not appear as a normal tree node.
Example
Knight's Piercing Thrust triggers after 6 basic attacks and uses a Melee, AOE delivery. Use that record to check attack rhythm and enemy grouping. Ranger's Rapid Fire triggers after 5 basic attacks as a Projectile skill, so range and projectile behavior matter more. Compare those shapes before you choose gear or runes.
For a route test, write one active skill and one passive target. If the route fails because enemies survive the first burst, test damage support. If the route fails because the hero dies or pauses at the boss, test armor, HP, block, recovery, or cooldown support before chasing a larger damage number.
Limitations
Use the skills page to check extracted skill records. You still need route tests for animation locks, projectile travel, enemy movement, player input, and uptime across a full route. A skill that looks strong in isolation can still underperform when the stage layout fights its range or delivery type.
Compare heroes with route context. Active count, passive count, max level, and element cannot answer the build question alone. Use the skills page to narrow a test, then use the farm optimizer and the relevant monster page to check whether the build works in play.
Update notes
Maintainers reviewed this guide on June 20, 2026. The current skill records list 36 active skills, 108 passive records, 6 heroes, and source version 1.00.05. The manifest separates passive tree records from record-only passives so readers can see where a line came from.
Report skill issues with the hero, skill name, activation type, value, range, passive stat, and game version. Add skill corrections to the shared skill records so hero pages, build notes, and search results stay consistent.
