Task Bar Hero Priest Build: Tank, Support, and Gear

Priest is most reliable as the frontline tank/support: keep Blessing of Might active, add healing, and build cooldown reduction, resistance, damage reduction, HP, and Armor before considering lightning DPS.

01 · Skills and tree

Start stable, then transition to full support

Blessing of Might supplies the team damage buff. Heal is the steadier early sustain, while Sanctuary needs enough cooldown reduction to maintain smooth coverage.

Use Emerald for Chaos Resistance and Amethyst for Max HP.

  • Emerald

More cooldown

Use these when Cooldown Reduction is still below target.

  • Turquoise
  • Spider Silk

More HP

Use these when the build needs more HP.

  • Healing Herb
  • Bat Wing Membrane

For accessories, prioritize Max HP. The low-budget Torment core is weapon cooldown, armor Chaos Resistance, and accessory Max HP.

05 · Endgame formation

Do not let Priest overtake Ranger or Sorcerer

Ranged damage line
Priest stays behind

Keep Ranger and Sorcerer in front of Priest's movement line.

  1. 01

Do not stack Movement Speed without checking formation.

  2. 02

Pure endgame support should avoid excess Cast Speed.

  3. 03

    Boots are optional.

  4. 04

If boots are required, consider Mystic Boots only when the movement roll does not break formation.

  5. 05

Sanctuary's cast animation can help Priest remain behind the damage dealers.

Sanctuary cast animation can act as a natural delay.

Cast Speed can help during progression, but pure endgame support values stable formation more than faster casting.

06 · Alternative route

Lightning Priest DPS build

5/5

Blessing of Might

Keep the team damage buff active.

5/5 · Lightning

Wrath

Equipment plan

  • Use 4-6 lightning-damage lines on the weapon.
  • Keep 1-2 additional cooldown-reduction lines.
  • Armor still needs Chaos Resistance, Max HP, and Damage Reduction.
  • Use Max HP on accessories first; add Movement Speed only after survival is stable.
  • Do not overstack Movement Speed in a party.
