Blessing of Might
The always-on core skill.
Priest is most reliable as the frontline tank/support: keep Blessing of Might active, add healing, and build cooldown reduction, resistance, damage reduction, HP, and Armor before considering lightning DPS.
Blessing of Might supplies the team damage buff. Heal is the steadier early sustain, while Sanctuary needs enough cooldown reduction to maintain smooth coverage.
The always-on core skill.
Use during early progression.
The point where Sanctuary becomes practical.
Replace Heal for sustained party recovery.
The pure-support endgame pair.
Weapon: prioritize Cooldown Reduction.
Use Emerald for Chaos Resistance and Amethyst for Max HP.
Use these when Cooldown Reduction is still below target.
Use these when the build needs more HP.
For accessories, prioritize Max HP. The low-budget Torment core is weapon cooldown, armor Chaos Resistance, and accessory Max HP.
Keep Ranger and Sorcerer in front of Priest's movement line.
Do not stack Movement Speed without checking formation.
Pure endgame support should avoid excess Cast Speed.
Boots are optional.
If boots are required, consider Mystic Boots only when the movement roll does not break formation.
Sanctuary's cast animation can help Priest remain behind the damage dealers.
Sanctuary cast animation can act as a natural delay.
Cast Speed can help during progression, but pure endgame support values stable formation more than faster casting.
Keep the team damage buff active.
The damage skill for this alternative route.
